Stunning Clifftop Glamping In East Bali Redefines Affordable Luxury

Share The Article

Tourists planning their vacations to Bali should be on the lookout for hidden gems, beaten-path adventures, and accommodations that serve up something a little bit different.

While staying in a luxury resort is a vibe, with so many opportunities to try something a little bit different in Bali, it’s a shame to pass up the opportunity.

Though Bali is not exactly a safari destination, there are an increasing number of safari-style glamping hotels cropping up across the sailed.

This accommodation style has taken Kintamani by storm, as glampers can sleep under the shadow of Mount Batur on the shores of Lake Batur.

The trend is slowly moving eastwards as glamping safari hotels are opening up towards the clifftops of Karangasem, and these spots are seriously dreamy.

Bali Cliff Glamping, in Seraya Village in East Bali, is an affordable glamping experience that must be added to the bucket list. Guests have gorgeous views of the garden and a world-class ocean vista, too.

Speaking to reporters, Kadek, an employee at Bali Cliff Glamping, explained how the whole resort has been built with a unique natural concept. The hotel features locally made wooden ornaments and carvings throughout the glamping tents. This is seriously glamorous camping!

Bali Cliff Galloping has a limited number of rooms to make for a cozy and intimate stay for guests. Kadek explained “We have six rooms here, with the same type and facilities. The only difference is the view. In my opinion, the best room is at the Eastside because you can get a view of the sunrise in the morning.”

Each glamping tent is equipped with a double bed and a super comfortable mattress. The interior design is minimalist chic, and each tent has its own hardstanding private en-suite bathroom, a water cooler, and more.

Something guests at Bali Cliff Glamping note is quite how quiet it is at night. With no nosey neighbors or busy roads, guests fall asleep to the sound of crickets in the distance and wake with the sun. The in-house restaurant, Warung Chic, offers a wonderful menu and overlooks the resort’s infinity pool that guests have access to day and night.

Breakfast treats include healthy bowls, honey pancakes, a full American breakfast, and French toast. The bottomless pizza menu is available every Tuesday, and it has unlimited cocktails and woodfired pizzas for IDR 450,000 ++ per person from 4 pm until 7pm.

The lunch and dinner menu means guests need not leave the resort if they wish to arrive and fully relax. The menu features Indonesian classics, including Beef Rending, Chicken Satay, and grilled fish. As well as ‘chic’ burgers, gyros, salads, and sweet treats for dessert.

It has to be said that the sunsets from Bali Cliff Glamping are at the next level. It’s hard to believe that a luxury boutique safari tent starts at just IDR 850,000 (USD 52) per night.

This rate includes a breakfast package for two people.

For those who want or need to add an extra bed, there will be an additional IDR 300,000 charge to make a family tent.

While there is really no need to leave the Bali Cliff Glamping Resort from check-in until check-out for a totally relaxed vacation, there are so many attractions and cultural landmarks close to explore, too.

Bali Cliff Glamping is just a 35-minute from Gates of Heaven Lempuyang Temple; it is ideal for the early start to get that famous sunrise photo!

Tirta Gangga is just a 20-minute drive from Bali Cliff Glamping and is a relaxed and culturally inspiring day out.

The relaxed coastal resort of Amed is under an hour’s drive, though nearby beaches include Tanjung Beach, Funkkoeh Beach, and Pantai Jasri.

Malaria, Dengue, Japanese Encephalitis are at all time highs. Camping increases the risk. And….dont forget Balis latest nasty nuisance ‘the Tomcat Beetle’ whose acid spray burns deep and painfully.

@J West,

If the resort and the guests follow the normal practices and precautions they're at no greater risk than any other hotel or resort.
