However, Yudhistira didn’t know the purpose of their arrival in Bali. “We were informed that there would be twelve passengers, but we don’t know the purpose of their visit,” Yudhistira added.

Why is this even making news? So what if private citizens regardless can hire a private jet which is actually cheaper in the long run to travel and safer.

There was an Aussie couple in Bali who used a private jet to send their dog back to Australia.

Now this is the kind of tourists Bali needs, people who splurge on money to get to Bali and spend more in Bali. Because if you have to do a quarantine in Indonesia, what better place to do it than Bali? If only the passangers are not Indonesian, but then a lot of Indonesian when they visit Bali they do splurge, definitely even more than the foreigners who complained about not getting free/cheap visa.

@Donda, i agree, if your destination is Bali then you should be able to quarantine in Bali. Much more comfortable than a hotel in Jakarta. The quarantine is putting most people off coming. The restriction to coming via Jakarta is making it even worse. Makes sense to change this rule especially now Bali international airport is open.

@Donda, you nailed it. It is a good harmless observation.

I recall many aussie and other nationalities return to their country with chartered jet. What's wrong to use chartered jet?

Smart. Cost wise, not much difference than first class flight plus very comfortable quarantine resort in Bali at much lower cost. As example, a 300m3 courtyard villa with private pool overlooking ubud valley is cheaper than deluxe room at five star hotel in jakarta.

In fact, this was my plan couple months ago. Unfortunately I was not enough passengers to economically charter a flight to Bali.

@Wayan Bo, For long distance, First and biz class wide body commercial flight is far more comfortable than typical small - medium chartered jet. I dont want to use 12 pax capacity private jet from Europe to Melbourne.

@masTKI, flight distance from Bali to Australian continent would cost to fly with chartered jet even in very expensive Europe far under € 7k

But even worlds best tennis player Djokovć was flying from Europe to Melbourne with Emirates.

If most of Bali is COVID free why can't west Australians travel there as we have had the least amount of COVID in the world. It would definitely help the locals in Bali plus us to get away to a place we feel safe. Even if it was only for people over forty so you don't get brogans going there and spoiling things for everyone. Open Bali Soon.

@Carl, it’s for Your own protection only, not to end up in jail, not to become victim of criminal activities, not to be forced to change religion if You want to marry Indonesians, and not to get sick. It’s seems to be a part of new international human rights agreements.

@Carl, is Australian Government having been confirmed on reciprocal Travel Bubble agreement with Indonesia? Indonesia Government has announced to welcome people from 19 countries and adding more however till today none of those countries been proving on a reciprocal Travel Bubble and/or Corridor agreement with Indonesia. They didn't yet open their border with Bali that's the problem Sorry this is just from my point of view and opinion
