During an operation on Tuesday (22/2), the Head of Law Enforcement and Regional Constitution for Karangasem Civil Service Office, I Made Aditya Sugiharta, confirmed that two rapid antigen test facilities have been operating in Padangbai Port without a legal permit.

The facilities, Kimi Afrma and Unicare, were inspected by the authority.

“We checked their documents and saw that both facilities haven’t received permission from the Health Agency,” Sugiharta said.

He invited the persons in charge from those facilities to clarify their status to the authority as regulated by the Governor’s Regulation Number 42 Year 2020 about Health Protocols Law Enforcement.

Sugiharta stated that he will keep on intensively patrolling and conducting similar operations in all of Karangasem, especially around the Manggis, Padangbai Port, and Tengading Three junction areas. This is in anticipation of prevention regulation violations.

During the last operation, the authorities punished nine offenders who didn’t comply with the mask-wearing policy.

So basically he did nothing. Probably got paid off to go away.

Even licensed rapid antigen tests very often don’t recognize Omicron, 8 of 9 give wrong information.

Regardless of your vaccination status Domestic travelers have to be tested at licensed sites prior to travel by air. If a result is positive, you will not be able to travel until you are fully recovered. The result is stored on a data base that will appear on a tracing app. The result will determine where you need to isolate or travel. My sources tell me so.

Roger Thomas thinks that less protected domestic travelers are to blame for the high rise of covid -19 in Bali recently. Little does this person know how things actually work in Indonesia with licensed and government approved testing sites. Due to the travel restrictions in place, this biased person thinks that vaccinated and boosted international travelers are immune from the disease. Regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, and nationality, breakthrough infections are likely to happen anywhere at anytime. The virus does not stop at the border.
