Bali International Airport Opens Photoshoot Service To Generate Income

Officials from the Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport have opened their facility for photoshoot services to generate more revenue for the airport.

Stakeholder Relation Manager of Angkasa Pura I, Ltd for the Ngurah Rai Airport, Taufan Yudhistira confirmed that the airport has officially opened its facility for photoshoot services as of June 2021. “This is a new service that we can now offer guests since the beginning of June 2021, as promised through social media to generate more revenue for the airport.” Yudhistira said on Sunday (6/6).

He explained that the idea was initiated as many people tend to find a nice place for their pre wedding photoshoot in Bali. Customers are required to pay USD 350 (IDR 5 million) for four hours of using the airport facility, and they will charge another USD 350 (IDR 1 million) for each additional hour. “Although we haven’t had any bookings, we received good response while promoting it on our social media.” Yudhistira added.

He also said that people are required to contact the management of Angkasa Pura I for reservation in order to discuss the photoshoot area inside the airport. “We need to discuss with the management and other airport operators, so the photoshoot will not disrupt operations, safety and regulations.” Yudhistira concluded. He also explained that all the photoshoot’s necessities such as a photographer and hair and makeup artists must be scheduled by the customer as the airport only provides the facility.
