Tour Guides In Kintamani Trained To Assist TouristsTo Help Grow Tourism

Tour guides in Kintamani have been asked to jointly create a sense of security and comfort for tourists to help improve tourism in the area. 

This was conveyed by the Head of the Bangli Police AKBP I Gusti Agung Dhana Aryawan when holding a meeting with tour guides that are members of the Kintamani Mountain Climbing Tour Guides. The meeting was attended by Head of the Guidance Association of the Caldera Region, Jro Gede Budiarta, chairman I Wayan Alit Ardiana and Kintamani police chief Kompol I Made Raka Sugita.

Bangli Regional Police reminded tour guides in Kintamani to avoid illicit behavior that could adversely affect the progress of tourism in Bangli. “Extortion, thugs and narcotics are very bad for the progress of tourism,” he said.

The police chief also asked that tourism guides to immediately report if there were practices of extortion, thuggery or drugs around them.

Meanwhile HPKC Chairperson Jro Gede Budiarta welcomed the activities carried out by the Bangli Regional Police Station. He hopes that activities like this can be carried out continuously to provide legal awareness to the perpetrators of tourism. “We appreciate activities like this, so that we get information and clarity on the importance of security in the field of Tourism,” he sai
