On the first stage of construction, the toll route will pass 33 villages, building three rest stops and three exits along the first 55 km from Gilimanuk.

The Head of Jembrana Public Works, I Wayan Sudirta said the main focus is on design, as the road will be built above residences.

The team asked villagers to share their point of view regarding the design to avoid a negative social impact.

“I really appreciated this kind of discussion, to avoid any problems once the construction begins.

As we know, there are so many holy sites in Bali that should be respected while building the toll road” said the Regent of Jembrana, I Nengah Tamba.
