The Deputy Chief Of Badung Regent Collapsed Due To Allegedly Having A Stroke

Deputy Chief of Badung Regent, I Ketut Suiasa has been rushed to the hospital during an event at one of the official party’s headquarters in Denpasar on Wednesday (30/6).

According to information from witnesses, the incident occurred when Suiasa attended an event that took place in a building that is located in Renon, Denpasar. In the middle of the event, Suiasa suddenly collapsed in front of the crowd. Shortly after, he was immediately carried to his car before being transported to Mangusada Hospital.

Suiasa was later transported to Siloam Hospital on Sunset Road by an ambulance as he was being referred by Mangusada Hospital in order to receive intensive medical attention. At the same time, Badung Regent, I Nyoman Giri Prasta was also spotted inside the ambulance while transporting him to Siloam Hospital. According to a source, Suiasa was having a stroke, causing his health condition to drop significantly.

Meanwhile the Head of the Badung Health Agency, Dr, Nyoman Gunarta hasn’t announced any official statement regarding Suiasa’s condition at the hospital. The Spokesman of the Badung Regional Government, Made Suardita as the Head of Badung Protocols and Communication stated that he wasn’t informed by the doctor regarding Suiasa’s condition.
