An officer from Denpasar Criminal Investigation Bureau confirmed that the suspect was arrested Friday evening (7/5) on Jalan Raya Kampus Unud in Jimbaran. The incident occured when Irma came back to her house located in West Denpasar after going to the fresh market on Monday afternoon (22/2) around 1:00pm. When she arrived, Irma put her bag and her cellphone on the table and left them to take a shower. Unfortunately, Irma forgot to lock her front door. “As a result, she lost her cellphone and USD 690 (IDR 10 million) cash.” the officer added. Shortly after when the victim realized that she lost her belongings, she immediately filed a report to the police department. After investigating the case for a couple of months, the officers finally found and arrested the suspect who had been previously charged and jailed for a similar offence.
