Private jet rentals in Bali continue to increase into next month despite the partial lockdown set to be implemented from January 11th to 25th.

The Director of Indojet Sarana Aviasi, Stefanus explained that the bookings of private jet rentals have not been affected by the upcoming partial lockdown in Bali and Java island.

“The occupancy is getting higher as of today, especially before the Chinese New Year celebration” said Stefanus on Friday (8/1).

He added that favorable routes amongst travelers this season are from Jakarta to Bali and Jakarta to Labuan Bajo.

Many people have made their reservations in advance, going into February.

“We have had no cancelations, despite the partial lockdown announced by the central government recently” Stefanus added.

According to Stefanus, the price of private jet service from Jakarta to Bali or Labuan Bajo range between USD 20,000 (IDR 280 million) to USD 26,428 (IDR 370 million) for a one way trip.

While the price is considered high for most people, “it’s not a big deal for high-end clients as we’ve already had 8 flights to Bali and Labuan Bajo in January alone.” added Stefanus.

The company offers several types of private jet services starting from jets with a maximum capacity of 6 seats to jets with 13 seats.

Most of the clients use this service for vacation or business purposes.

“Some people use our service simply because they’re reluctant to travel on public transportation,” Stefanus concluded.
