In response to the application, Toya decided to conduct inspections in four different movie theaters in Denpasar, including Level 21, Plaza Renon, Cineplex and Trans Studio Bali to assure that all the health and safety protocols are in place.

“We have inspected four movie theaters from Dec 2nd to Dec 4th 2020. It appears that the theaters are aligned with due requirements” Toya confirmed.

The permit prerequisites include hand washing stations, hand sanitizers, face masks and appropriate distancing, which the cinemas have allocated by closing off at least one empty seat between each person.

The visitors can only book tickets through online reservations to minimize contact with staff.

Visitor identity would be recorded while making the online reservation. The data will be sent to the Denpasar Communication and Informatics Agency for tracing in case of Covid-19 transmission at cinemas.

“We have completed inspections. We will now confirm with the Covid-19 Handling Task Force before finalizing the permit” Toya concluded.
