There are plenty of opportunities for adventure in Bali, but things just got even more adventurous. Bali has officially welcomed the biggest high ropes course in all of Indonesia. The new adventurous day out is set to become one of the island’s leading tourist attractions, and it’s not hard to see why.
Located in the heart of the tropical jungles of Ubud, surrounded by expanses of rice fields and fast-flowing rivers, the Houbii Spot Bali is a new adventure park for all those adrenaline seekers. The park is designed for adults and children alike. If you have a playful spirit, the Houbii Spot Bali is a must-visit.
Speaking to reporters at the launch event his week, the park’s General Manager, Edo Ariesta Afriyanto, said, “Houbii Spot Bali has several special paths that are suitable for all ages, each of which has a unique level of complexity. There are several different paths, which are arranged according to skill level and, of course, age.”
He continued, “But what makes this Houbii Spot Bali Ubud a must-visit? Ubud is a popular place for many tourists, both local and foreign. This is mainly due to its outstanding characteristics. Like many other recreational facilities, a good location is very important. Luckily Houbii Spot Bali, this Rope Course ride is located right in the middle of Bali’s tropical nature – a quiet and spacious place that highlights the diversity of botany in Bali.”
Whether you’re in Bali on vacation or as a digital nomad sticking around the longer term, Houbii Spot Bali really has an offering for all. They are launching a membership program with 6 or 12-month options. This allows members access to the high ropes course, leisure facilities, and free access to the other Houbii Hubs in Bogor and Ciledug.
Day passes start at IDR 300,000 (USD 19.40) with guided access to the high ropes course. The adventure center gives you a chance to swing like the monkeys in the famous Monkey Forest Sanctuary in central Ubud!
Completing the high ropes course will be no mean feat. With over fifty obstacles to navigate and nearly 2 km of high ropes to traverse, the course is a real immersion into the jungle canopy. The course is being promoted as a fun and adventurous day out and as a novel way to keep your fitness up.
Houbii Spot Bali says they “understand that the best way to stay healthy is to keep moving. We promote the infectious benefits of climbing and swimming for children and adults alike – because everyone deserves a place to have a blast with their buddies.” Houbii Spot Bali is located at Villa Tandadewa Ubud, a quick fifteen-minute drive from the center of the town.
For those looking to fully embrace their adventurous side in Bali, there are so many opportunities to do so. For all those water babies out there, river rafting is an absolute must. As one of the most popular activities in Bali, rafting is exciting and immersive and a chance to see some of Bali’s most pristine natural landscape that those who skip the boats miss out on.
Love getting down and dirty? Then an ATV trip through the heart of Ubud’s jungle should be high on your day trip list for Bali. There is little more fun than tearing through muddy puddles and gorgeous green jungle on a quad bike. If you want to get a little more off the beaten track, check out rafting and ATV experiences further afield than Ubud. Munduk Wilderness Outdoor Activities provide guided adventure experiences in the northern regency of Buleleng, which is often overlooked by travelers heading to Ubud.
