Looking For A Unique Way To Explore Bali’s Kuta Beach Resort? This Is It!

It is fair to say that Bali’s Kuta Beach is synonymous with a classic beach vacation. And a boozy one at that.

Just fifty years ago, Kuta Beach welcomed some of the first tourists who ventured to Bali. Over the course of the last half-century, Kuta Beach has undergone an incredible transformation.

The tourist resort is now a favorite with holidaymakers from around the world, especially from Australia. Kuta Beach is a destination close to the hearts of many Australians, and as such, the area offers some novel tourist entertainment, including the Bali Beer Cycle.

Bali Beer Cycle is one of the most popular tourist activities in Kuta. The premise is simple, groups of friends and families traveling in Bali can hire the Bali Beer Cycle to explore the streets of Kuta with a beverage close at hand.

And yes, the beer is ‘bloody cold’ as it should be! The 2-hour tour covers the whole of Kuta Village. Guests hop aboard the Bali Beer Cycle bus, start peddling, start drinking and let the good times roll.

Accompanied by a driver (someone has to keep their eyes on the road) and Bali Beer Cycle’s exceptionally enthusiastic hosts, tourists sip and cycle their way around the island’s oldest resort village.

Speaking to reporters, hostess Shinta said, “We serve customers for two hours. Can chat, take photos, play songs by customer requests too. For songs, for example, when driving on the road, there is a Balinese ceremony the voices [and music] will be reduced so that it does not interfere.”

Shinta revealed that the Bali Beer Cycle is open for everyone but that the activity isn’t yet as popular with domestic tourists as it is with international visitors. She said bookings from domestic tourist groups are “Rare, not even nothing at all. Most of it is from Australia. There are also many from Japan.”

Packages start at IDR 700,000 for the two-hour experience, including unlimited beer, Smirnoff Ice, and non-alcoholic beverages for those who aren’t inclined to sip away on a Bintang.

It is, without a doubt, one of the most in-demand experiences in Kuta, and you don’t want to miss out. If you find yourself exploring the shops and market stalls of Kuta, you are almost guaranteed to see the Bali Beer Cycle out on the streets for yourself.

Perhaps the most amusing part of the experience is that cycling is only optional! The Bali Beer Cycle bus is fully motorized, removing any jeopardy of slowing down and clogging up the road. Anyone wanting a relaxed tour of Kuta, then they can simply chill at the bar and watch the world go by.

The Bali Beer Cycle is proving to be ever popular with groups of friends on holiday in Bali and is a really unique way to spend a few hours on the island.

Kuta will always be one of the most important tourist destinations in Bali. The area is ideal for holidaymakers seeking a classic beach retreat, young families wanting a destination that will keep everyone happy, and even backpackers looking for a place to create unforgettable memories on the road. There is so much to see and do in Kuta.

The obvious starting point is, of course, Kuta Beach. Sunsets at Kuta Beach are as blissful and impressive as they were in the 1970s. Be sure to find a table at a beachside warung for a few cold drinks as the sun goes down.

If you’re the more adventurous type, why not book a surf lesson on the world-famous break at Kuta Beach? The gentle waves are the perfect classroom for any wannabe surfer.

Sticking with fun in the water, no trip to Kuta would be complete without a visit to Waterbom. This place is something of an institution in Bali.

Loved by domestic and international tourists alike, Waterbom features a huge range of rides and slides. The Climax is the most daring of all. This sheer drop slide is not for the faint-hearted!
