One of the great joys of a vacation in Bali is the range of activities and attractions on offer.

Over the course of a two-week vacation, you can be 14 different types of travelers. From culture vulture to nature lover, from party animal to serene sunbather, the options are endless. 

It has long been a vibe to go cafe hopping in Bali. Whatever the season and whatever neighbourhood you may find yourself in, there are always more than enough cafes to keep travellers well fed and suitably caffeinated. Some may argue there are even too many!

But with coffee being a real way of life in Bali, especially since Indonesia is one of the world’s best coffee-growing regions, it’s easy to see why this became a longstanding travel trend.

On top of that, the hospitality and friendly welcome of the people of Bali make it hard to resist staying longer in the cafes and lounges of the island’s top tourism resorts.

Bali is, lest we forget, home to some of the world’s best beach clubs. These venues offer unrivalled hospitality, incredible food, and most importantly, unbeatable party vibes from the moment the doors open until final orders are called.

Once upon a time, tourists would visit a day club and pitch up for the day and stay long into the night. However, one trend we are getting more excited about is Beach Club Jumping.

In part one, one of the reasons why tourists would stay at one beach club all day and night is that the distance between venues was too far. In many cases, and for many years, it was simply too much effort to jump from one beach club to another without losing the vibe.

In 2026, many of the island’s best beach clubs are located within a stone’s throw of one another, making it easier than ever for tourists to jump about to find a vibe that feels right for them.

Of course, here at The Bali Sun, we are big fans of locking in to one beach club for the duration. It certainly helps to really sink into the atmosphere of the moment, and it’s cool to be part of the wave of change of vibe from morning to afternoon, through to the evening, and late-night party.

However, for those who are restless (and there’s nothing wrong with that) or even those who are short on time and want to experience as many Bali beach clubs as possible, then Beach Club Jumping is the mission for you!

In Uluwatu, there is arguably the easiest morning into afternoon into nighttime transition for beach clubs. First up, start with brunch at Ulu Garden, while not specifically a beach club, this community lounge is the perfect place to hang out after an early morning surf.

There are always different events happening, and it’s a cozy, chatty space to meet new people or hide away from the heat of the day. Within a couple of minutes’ walk from Ulu Garden is the world-famous Single Fins.

This is not only the ideal spot for sunset but for poolside cocktails too. With live DJs hitting the decks daily and great rates on food and drink, this is a spot that is genuinely worth the hype. Finally finishing the day at Ulu Cliffhouse for a sophisticated nightlife feel.

Here at The Bali Sun, this would be our top trio of venues to jump between, but if we were to pick just one for the duration, it would have to be Ulu Cliffhouse. 

Heading over to Canggu, there are so many Beach Club Jumping options. Of course, the most obvious is FINNS Beach Club and Atlas, which neighbour each other. One combo that is easily overlooked is the jump between The Lawn, Old Man’s, and Sand Bar. This is a club hopping circuit ideal for those who really want to build into the party vibe while maxing out on beachside fun and time in the sun.
