Bali’s Kintamani is an unmissable cultural day trip for tourists. Come rain or shine there is always something magical to discover in Kintamani and as the gateway to Bali’s volcanic highlands, Kintamani is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the busy beach resorts and breathe in some fresh mountain air. 

Kintamani is gaining in popularity with tourists from all over the world and all over Indonesia. Over the Eid holiday, known in Indonesia as Lebaran, Kintamani welcomed over 20,000 more tourists than usual.

The Head of the Bangli Tourism and Culture Office, Wayan Sugiartha, told reporters “it is clear that there is a positive influence. Tourist visits are increasing.”

He added “ In “Kintamani, besides Penglipuran Village, is one of the icons of tourism in Bangli, but for all of Bali.”

Bali Province is managed as nine regencies, and Bangli Regency is home to some of the island’s best kept tourism gems and emerging hotspots.
