The Gianyar Police Department has decided to pick up dozens of unvaccinated senior citizens in Gianyar with a police bus.

The Deputy Chief of Gianyar Police Department, Kompol I Nyoman Wirajaya confirmed that he has deployed his officers to start picking up dozens of senior citizens in Gianyar who are still reluctant to receive the Covid-19 vaccine on Tuesday (28/9). “According to our data, many of our senior citizens across Gianyar were still unvaccinated. So we decided to pick them up from their homes with our bus and take them to vaccination sites.” Kompol Wirajaya said.

Kompol Wirajaya also admitted that this program was more effective in educating the people about the importance of the Covid-19 vaccination. Meanwhile the Official from Keramas Village Gianyar, I Gusti Ngurah Sarjana also stated that he has been struggling to assure the senior citizens in his area that the vaccine is safe. “Prior to this program, we used to have a total of 160 unvaccinated senior citizens, but thanks to the police as they have successfully picked them up to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.” Sarjana said.

The Bali Health Agency and Indonesian Shopping Mall Management Association (APPBI Bali) have decided to start distributing Covid-19 vaccines to all shopping mall workers in Bali.

Despite being successfully taken to the vaccination sites, some of the senior citizens were still not vaccinated due to physical conditions, so they were required to wait until they recovered from their illnesses. “We have deployed all of our officers in Gianyar to support this vaccination program so herd immunity in our area can be achieved in the near future.” Kompol Wirajaya concluded.

Is this for real? People refused taking it, so you picked them up and forced them? Are you insane? What happened to freedom? Is it a fictional phrase already? Goddammit, this article is so creepy. I've just made a decision to move to Bali next year and you're coming up with this... You for real? How could you?
