Why and whatfore. - Can't remember that 1980's and 1990's such things happened. - The only one synagogue in Indonesia that was in Surabaya was burned down in 2009 and was not restored again, it would be correct that Indonesian government pay teparati

Indonesia believes in strength through acceptance of all cultures (except one.) It’s a glorious value, and a blessing to its people. This bombing is abhorrent to all Indonesians except the ones who use hate to further their ideological cause. Maybe one day they’ll accept the other faith never mentioned, but also bombed a few years ago one day, as other Moslum societies and countries have recently done and join in a world of friendship rather than exclusion. There is no reason to exclude Israel any more. They have no hatred for the Moslum people.

@Ted, Educated and wordly Indonesians regardless of ethnicity or religious beliefs do not have ill feelings with the "Jews" as such. Many and others are looking at the plight of the Palestinian people. It's human nature to be concerned.

The people and the government are two different matters be it anywhere in the world. The people get dragged in with the politics. And in the process innocent lives get in harm's ways. Sighs.
