A 26-year-old man named Lu Bing Jin (Benny) could possibly face a death sentence for controlling drug trafficking while being imprisoned in Bali.
As The Bali Sun previously reported Benny’s brother named Lu Ming Fee was arrested after attempting to deliver a package of narcotics from a hotel that is located on Jalan Raya Kuta in Bali. During the interrogation, Lu Ming Fee admitted that he was asked to do it by his brother, Benny who is still currently serving his sentence inside the prison.
Despite getting sentenced with 17 years imprisonment, Benny still continues his illegal business by controlling it from behind bars. The Prosecutor of the District Attorney, Dewi Agustin Adiputri confirmed that Benny would face bigger consequences for what he had done. “In accordance with the Indonesian Narcotics Constitution, Benny has violated several different constitutions, so he could possibly face a life sentence or even a death sentence as consequences.” Adiputra said.
Benny’s brother also admitted that after picking up the package at J Hotel in Kuta, Benny asked him to repack the package with a noodle box before delivering the package to a man with the initials Om (Uncle). When Benny and Lu Ming Fee were being interrogated in the same room at Kerobokan prison, they both admitted all the illegal activities that they attempted while Benny is still being imprisoned for a similar offences.
