A Social Media Influencer Has Been Arrested For Motorbike Theft In Bali

A social media influencer named Adi Putra Pratomo has been arrested after attempting to steal a motorbike in Denpasar.

The Head of the South Denpasar Criminal Investigation Bureau, AKP Hadimastika confirmed that the suspect was arrested after attempting to steal a motorbike from a house that is located on Jalan Pulau Bungin, Gang Damar Number 5X, South Denpasar on Thursday (17/6). “The suspect was arrested from the scene on Jalan Pulau Bungin on Thursday early morning after attempting to steal a motorbike while he was under the influence of alcohol around 2:30am.” AKP Hadimastika.

According to the information from the victim named AA Made Anom, the incident occured when the suspect broke into the house to find the key, after realizing that he was unable to take the motorbike from the parking area. Surprisingly, the suspect awakened Made Anom who was sleeping beside his wife and asked for his motorbike’s key. Becoming panicked, Anom’s wife shouted for help to the neighbors.

The suspect was detained by the angry villagers, before finally getting arrested by the police. “The victim was shocked, but once they managed to detain the suspect, Anom called the police and shortly after we arrived at the scene and arrested Pratomo for interrogation.” AKP Hadimastika concluded. The officers haven’t announced an official statement regarding this case as the investigation is still underway.
