Spanning over 44 hectares of prime Tabanan coast, the epicenter of Nuanu City overlooks the stunning Nyanyi Beach. In a press release the CEO of Nuanu, Lev Kroll, outlined the organization’s big visions for 2025.

Kroll explained, “The year 2025 is an important moment for Nuanu. Through various interesting new programs and projects, we are ready to welcome more than 3 million visitors this year.”

He shared “Nuanu is designed as an integrated ecosystem, this region has special spaces for education, art and culture, fitness, entertainment, and a life inspired by nature, with a vision for a future where these elements blend harmoniously.”

here are over 30 creative projects and initiatives happening at Nuanu City, with more to come throughout the year.

In the few short weeks of the year so far Nuanu City has already introduced three new projects, including The Red Tent, a space dedicated for women to congregate and create in sisterhood. Sol Studio, will launch in February 2025 and become a space where contemporary and modern dance classes, workshops, and performances will be held.

The Cultural Village, also opening in the coming weeks, is set to be a space within the Nuanu City complex to preserve Bali’s cultural heritage and showcase traditional art performances, dining experiences, and cultural workshops.

Kroll shared “We invite everyone to feel and understand how Nuanu carries out sustainable practices in regional improvement in Bali as well as enjoy the Nuanu area.”

Nuanu’s mission is to become an environmentally sustainable city of the future. The organization explains “Our vision is to become a vibrant hub where creativity, collaboration, and positive change merge, fostering harmonious co-existence and collective well-being. Through education, resources, and collaborative platforms, we empower creativity in arts, environment, technology, and design.”

Located 10 minutes from Tanah Lot Temple, and 20 minutes from the booming resort of Canggu, Nuanu is ideally located for tourists wishing to experience something a little different on their Bali vacation.

With so much to see, do, and experience, it’s easy to see why over 3 million people are expected to explore Nuanu City this year.

From sun up to sun down and long into the evening, there are one-of-a-kind immersive experiences to be had at Nuanu City. The Aurora Media Park, known to be Bali’s first multimedia outdoor wonder, is the perfect magical family-friendly evening out.

The highlight of a visit to the Aurora Media Park is the mesmerizing Tri Hita Karana (THK) Tower.

This stunning 30-meter structure was designed by architect Arthur Mamou-Mani and can be experienced day or night.

The THK Tower is particularly special to experience after dark when, as Nuanu describes an “AI-powered multimedia show brings the tower to life, with daily-changing visuals that explore themes of spirituality, nature, and human connections.” The tower is built from reclaimed materials, including rattan and ironwood from an abandoned railway.

For a rainy day activity at Nuanu City, perfect for this monsoon season, visitors can book tickets for an immersive cultural show at The Dome.

The space, created by Labyrinth Collective at Nuanu City, offers a range of weekly performances, including the Bali Mystic Dome Show.

The stunning performance brings together key elements from five of Bali’s most significant cultural performances, including the Kecak, Gambuh, Wayang Kulit, Topeng Telek, and Barong Landung. The performance has been written and curated by Shawn Thomas O’Docharty, Bapak Man Kebo Iwa, and Bapak I Nyoman Sedan and is not to be missed.

Showings take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7pm, with tickets available to pre-book via the Labyrinth Collective website.
