Indonesia’s First Immersive Dome To Open In Bali’s City Of The Future

A new interactive and immersive creative experience is coming to Bali, and tourists are going to want to add this to their bucket list itineraries.

The Dome Experience, by Labyrinth Collective, is a cutting-edge center where art, technology, and innovation coexist in perfect harmony. Located in Nuanu City, the installation is just another way that teams are building the city of the future overlooking Tabanan Regency’s Nyanyi Beach.

The Dome, which offers a 360-degree experience on a screen that is 600 square meters, brings with it an Overall amount of light output from the projection system of 192,000 lumens of projection brilliance, Offering interactive playback and a series of firsts for Indonesia in terms of the sound system.

The Dome is intended to help bring together Bali’s cultural and natural landscape, offering visitors a chance to feel close to nature with its biophilic design. 

The Dome is a project created by the Labyrinth Collective, which was founded in 2021. They explain that “The Labyrinth Collective is a pioneering entity in Indonesia’s immersive entertainment market. Based in Bali, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant and sustainable hub where artistic expression and holistic experiences thrive.”

Adding, “Our project stands as a unique ecosystem, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, digital art, architecture, and ecological awareness.” The project has a strong commitment to social and environmental impact, and the founders have noted that “by creating a collaborative space to cultivate a Momentum for Digital Art and Immersive Experiences in Indonesia, we create a new economic model where business grows not in favor of individuals but in service of the whole.”

According to Labyrinth Collective, “5% of gross revenue towards local impact projects to the environment and communities until ROI, then 50% of profit.”

Starting on the 24th of November, The Dome will host a magical live performance called Bhuwana Agung: Bali Mystic to Life. The show will be performed Tuesday to Sunday from 7 – 7.45 pm, with tickets available for purchase online starting at IDR 240,000 per person.

The show is described as “a groundbreaking exploration of Balinese culture and spirituality. This innovative production reimagines traditional Balinese performing arts within a contemporary international theater framework, blending avant-garden and physical theatre with cutting-edge technology.” 

The Bali Mystic show incorporates elements from five of Bali’s most significant cultural performances, including the Kecak, Gambuh, Wayang Kulit, Topeng Telek, and Barong Landung. The performance has been written and curated by Shawn Thomas O’Docharty, Bapak Man Kebo Iwa, and Bapak I Nyoman Sedana. 

The Bali Mystic is not the only show to be on the schedule at The Dome. The 432hz Sound Healing experience promises to be a deeply immersive and transformative experience for visitors.

Labyrinth Collective explains, “The therapy leverages the natural resonance of 432Hz, known for its connection to the harmonic frequencies of the universe, to foster a sense of balance and healing. Combined with advanced sound systems, this therapy envelops participants in a multi-sensory journey, aligning mind, body, and spirit in a unique and profound way.”

The session is offered every Wednesday and Saturday from 11 am until 12.30 pm, with tickets also available online for IDR 490,000 for tourists.

The Dome can be found in Nuance Creative City, which is also the home of the annual Suara Festival and Luna Beach Club.

From 1st December, the city will celebrate the opening of the Magic Garden, an immersive botanical experience featuring native butterflies, orchids, and tropical domes. 

Luna Beach Club, which opened earlier this year, is, in fact, eight venues in one. Featuring the stunning beach club itself, which overlooks the black sands of Pantai Nyanyi, Luna offers guests five different dining concepts, two swimming pools, and much, much more.

For those looking for a unique New Year’s Eve celebration in Bali, Luna Beach Club could be the place for you.

The venue is calling on party lovers to join the “most unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration at Bali’s newest and most immersive beach club. Surrounded by the sand, sea, and stars, we’ll welcome 2025 in ultimate style!” The big event will offer free entry, though pre-sign-up will be required.
