22 Year Old Ukrainian Woman Injured In Bali Purse Snatching

A 22-year-old woman from the Ukraine was injured in a violent purse snatching in North Kuta.

“A Woman from Ukraine had her bag snatched while riding a motorbike alone on her way back to the villa in Kerobokan on Thursday night 22.30 (LT) Sept 17th 2020 In North Kuta”, said North Kuta Head of Criminal Investigation Bureau AKP Androyuan Elim during an interview on Friday Sept 18th 2020.

CCTV camera footage from a minimarket showed that the perpetrator was riding a white Yamaha N-Max when he committed the crime. “The 22-year-old woman with initials (DB) lost her bag with including an iPhone 8 with cash and credit cards inside. 

The estimated value was IDR 9 million in total.” Elim added.

The woman suffered serious injuries in the incident as she lost her balance and crashed when her bag was snatched.

The locals who saw the incident immediately rushed her to the Garbamed hospital for medical treatment.

“Do not expose your belongings while riding a scooter, it would be a lot safer to put them inside the trunk” Elim warned the public.
