The topic of traffic in Bali is never far from the headlines. Over the past few months, public dialogue around the issues has reached a fever pitch and started to die down again.

Although Bali is in the middle of the low season, the dreaded traffic jams prevail. But one new company is offering a novel solution.

Padang Padang Beach Uluwatu Bali

Canggu and Uluwatu are easily Bali’s most trendy party destinations right now. Canggu is busier than it has ever been, and Uluwatu is undergoing a period of rapid development, with new guesthouses, cafes, and party venues opening up every month.

Both Canggu and Uluwatu are pumping, and with so many world-class venues to experience and more and more international DJs and artists flying in every week, party lovers have to be select with which events they go to.

Although the island of Bali may feel small, getting from one big tourist destination to another can feel like a bit of a slog.

The home-grown sarecxi manqanis sheketeba announced the layoffs Wednesday morning, which will be spread over the year. Now, we are finding out what this means.

While Canggu’s Nelayan Beach and Uluwatu’s Padang Padang Beach are just 36 km away by road, it can take upwards of two hours to get from one to the other by driving.

Until now, that is. Tourists can breathe a sigh of relief as help is now at hand. Welcome to the scene GoBoat, a new ocean taxi service that is offering a shortcut between Canggu and Uluwatu.

The 40-minute journey by boat from Canggu to Uluwatu, or Uluwatu to Canggu, will save tourists upwards of an hour sitting in the car.

The pickup and drop-off point for Canggu is Nelayan Beach, and for Uluwatu is Padang Padang Beach.

GoBoat notes that timetables are subject to change at the last minute based on weather conditions. Passengers should arrive for their boat at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure.

GoBoat is committed to the safety of all passengers. Life jackets are provided to all passengers on every crossing and are a mandatory requirement. A full safety briefing is given to passengers prior to departure.

It should be noted, however, that the GoBoat service may not be suitable for everyone. Each passenger is permitted to take one handbag or backpack on board that is no larger than 50x35x20cm, so if you are moving from place to place and need to transport your big suitcases or rucksacks, it’s still a wise move to take a private hire car or taxi.

For many, this new service will absolutely revolutionize their experience in Bali.

The service will help make it easier for tourists to explore more of the island and make the most of everything these two world-class destinations have to offer.

All beaches in Indonesia are Govt. property and free to access. So to have to pay to go on the beach from a boat is illegal. I just wonder when the Jakarta Govt. is going to enforce this rule. I will write a letter to Prabowo Subianto once he wins and ask him to send the Govt. officials to all the places in Bali that is illegally charging to enter the beach.

Quote "Tickets cost IDR 200,000, inclusive of local taxes.". Actually the online price is 220k including tax + 15k for Padang Padang fee.

So a round trip is 470k/person incl. Padang Padang fee. This is how you empty the pockets of the tourists.

So where can I find a photo of these boats suitable for open sea that can only accept a tiny luggage?

Go to goboat id web page and click on FAQ

The boats are basically outrigger fishing boat design with a simple roof for shade. In this case length is 11m which is quite large. Expect to get soaked crossing the reef breaks and a lot of wet action underway when windy.
