A video of a foreign national dancing on Mount Batur without wearing any clothes has gone viral on social media.
A foreign national identified as Jeff Craigen uploaded a video of himself dancing naked on top of Mount Batur on his Instagram account, causing an uproar on social media. Many people condemned his behavior, and some even made fun of him, saying he was on drugs.
In a follow up video, Craigen explained that it was a traditional dance from Maori, New Zealand.
He also claimed that someone could achieve the highest level of happiness and courage by doing such a thing.
“When you strip naked without shame and the fear of being seen, you become a fearless child of God,” Craigen said in his video.
The Denpasar Immigration Office immediately began an investigation and attempted to locate the expat.
“We have been observing this case. Our team is currently collecting more information to begin the investigation,” said the Head of Denpasar Immigration Office Class I, Tedy Riyandi, on Sunday (24/4).

OMG We are borne without clothes . Some of the most beautiful and famous painting ever painted are of nude bodies. Time to get over your fears of the human body. This is not porn only an expression of freedom and the love for his god. It was a very stupid act on his part for uploading the video. Should be penalized with public service not jail or deportation. This is just my opinion. It mite not be your opinion and I am not saying my opinion is right or wrong.
