When planning a vacation in Ubud, first-time tourists need to be aware that the centre of town itself can feel pretty busy.
In fact, during rush hour, Jalan Raya Ubud, aka Ubud High Street, is pretty much gridlocked. But, book a stay just outside the centre of town, not even a kilometre away, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the lush tropical jungle you traveled halfway around the world to experience.
