As one of the main attractions of Nusa Penida, Kelingking Beach is the most popular destination for tourists. Unfortunately, there is no appropriate route for tourists to access the beach safely. Visitors need to step down a set of stairs 300 meters in height.

According to date from the Search & Rescue team, Sibolga had fallen from an altitude of 150 meters. After deploying units and cooperating with Klungkung Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), they managed to locate the body at 1:40 pm.

“We decided to retrieve the body with a boat, instead of reaching the area through the cliff. Based on our experience, that was the most effective way. Once found, the body was sent to Pratama Hospital” Gede Darmada concluded. Nearby villagers were also involved during the process.
