Three Inmates Escape From Bali Prison

Three inmates with the initials AMH, FS, and GLG managed to escape from the Jembrana police department’s holding facility.

The Head of the Jembrana Police Department, AKBP I Dewa Gede Juliana, confirmed that two of the three inmates who escaped from prison were already captured. The last one is still on the run.

“Two of the escaped prisoners were captured within 6 hours, but I need the support and prayers of the people so we can find the third one,” AKBP Juliana said on Monday (17/1).

The three inmates escaped from their prison cells on Sunday morning (16/1) at 9:00 am. Once the police officers realized they were gone, they immediately began the investigation by inspecting the river behind the cells.

All the suspects were previously arrested for robbery and violence in the Jembrana region.

The escaped prisoner with initials FS is the man who had recently assaulted and robbed a street vendor. The victim suffered serious injuries after being attacked by FS, who had been working as a street clown in Jembrana.

The police arrested FS from his hometown in Banyuwangi, East Java before detaining him in the prison he and two other inmates escaped from on Sunday.
