For those who are familiar with adventure travel in Bali, you will recognize Para Fly Bali as the operator who previously worked from Munggu Beach, close to Atlas Beach Club.

Now at home in Biaung Beach just south of Denpasar, Para Fly Bali have more space to play and better wind conditions for flights, and they’re making the most of it!

Operations Manager Ayu Pujawati told reporters, “We introduced paramotors [which is] motorized paragliding, which in comparison, paragliding requires a cliff to take off, while paramotors can land and take off anywhere.”

The company has the local community onside and hopes that by moving over to Biaung Beach, they can help bring more tourism into the area.

Pujawati reassured reporters that the operation is run to the highest safety standards, all parameter engines undergo a full-service check three times a week, and only highly trained paragliding pilots take guests up into the skies. 

The experience is proving increasingly popular with international tourists. Pujawati said, “Most of the enthusiasts are tourists from Australia and Europe who like adrenaline; we will also reach local enthusiasts.”

There are only a few conditions to keep in mind before booking; the experience is weather-dependent, and participants must be over the age of six and under 100kg. Participants are required to be in good health and sober.

Paramotor experiences with Para Fly Bali range from five minutes to fifteen minutes, costing between IDR 600,000 and 1,200,000.
