Santanera, the brainchild of two Colombian culinary connoisseurs named Andres Becerra and German Rincon, officially opened on November 18, 2021. It serves a mix of the best Latin American flavors, European influences, and local ingredients.
This quintessential tapas restaurant is a true manifestation of cross-cultural delight, and it ensures its guests’ ability to safely enjoy international flavors by implementing Covid-19 protocols.
Santanera has a spacious three-storey building, allowing it to accommodate over 140 guests during full operations, all while creating a safe environment where people can carry out social distancing. Hence, they can freely enjoy the all-fresh, nourishing delicacies from both land and sea, complemented with a wide array of wine and cocktails available at the Santanera bar.
Santanera also provides a lush rooftop garden where guests can enjoy a better view of the ocean and a lavish private function room, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, where guests can mingle and graze on plates-to-share.
Andres and German, who initiated this restaurant, gained their experiences from serving in international and Michelin-starred restaurants. They then decided to weave their myriad of award-winning experiences and embark on a new culinary adventure by merging the classic Latin American taste profile with European and Asian flourishes.
