Tanah Lot Temple is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Bali and preparing to become a green zone area for international visitors. As one of the most iconic tourist attractions which is located in Beraban village, Tanah Lot Temple has been very quiet due the Covid-19 pandemic. That could change as the management team of the temple confirmed that Tanah Lot is now preparing to become a green zone destination for tourists before the travel corridor program is implemented.
The Manager of Tanah Lot, I Wayan Sudiana said that he has provided all the equipment that is required to implement the prevention protocols such as hand-washing stations in several areas, face masks, and temperature checks upon arrival. “After completing all the requirements from the government regarding the safety measures, Tanah Lot has already received the Clean Health Safety and Environment (CHSE) certificate to ensure the tourists that it’s safe to visit” Sudiana said on Thursday (11/3).
He explained that Tanah Lot has installed 16 hand-washing stations and will provide free masks for each visitors while entering the area. Additionally, he stated that all the 100 staff that operate this tourist attraction will receive the Covid-19 vaccine in near future. “We have registered our staff to receive the vaccine. On the first phase, 50 of our staff will receive the vaccine after the Day of Silence celebration next week, and the rest will get it on the next phase” Sudiana concluded.
Meanwhile the Head of Tabanan Tourism Agency, I Gede Sukadana said that Tanah Lot is still operating at the moment with strict prevention protocols in place.
