There is now widespread community infection of COVID-19 in Bali.
Two more record high announcements were made on Friday by the Covid-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force team in Bali.
The new single day high for COVID-19 deaths was announced as 9 people died from the virus in Bali in a 24 hour period.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 skyrocketed as well with 198 new cases setting a new single day record.
Cumulatively, there are 5,906 confirmed cases and 88 people have died in Bali.
985 people are either being treated in 17 referral hospitals or are in quarantine at 4 different locations.
Across Indonesia cases continue to spike to new highs.
“The confirmed cases of Indonesian citizens through local transmission continue to increase sharply, with a total of 5,504 cases per day (93.19 percent,” explained the Daily Chairperson of the Bali Province GTPP Dewa Made Indra, on Friday (4/9).
