Preparations Are Underway For Bali’s Nyepi Festival

Every day is a day for a celebration of tradition and ritual in Bali. But there is one day in particular that stands out against the rest. Nyepi Day, also known as the Day of Silence, is the Balinese New Year.

As of 6am on 11th March 2024, the island will fall silent for a potent day of reflection and retreat to call the new year in.
