A mouthwateringly good new chocolate shop has opened its doors in the heart of Bali’s Ubud.

Cacao grown in Bali and across Indonesia is considered to be amongst the best in the world, and now tourists can buy it directly from the source.

Falala Chocolate Bali is celebrating the launch of its new Ubud store. Located on Jalan Raya Pengosekan Ubud, next to Mai Indonesian Grill and just opposite Mushroom Espresso Ubud, the new Falala Chocolate store gives tourists the chance to indulge in some of the finest chocolate in Bali and learn more about the chocolate-making process.

The founder of Falala Chocolate, Dewa Gede Padma Arta Putra, spoke to reporters about the launch of the new store and his pride in being a Balinese business owner bringing Balinese products to the heart of the island’s arts and culture capital.

Putra told reporters, “Falala Chocolate Bali is known for its distinctive chocolate flavor and beautiful, shareable premium box appearance. This product comes in two practical sizes: small (20 bars) and large (40 bars), making it the perfect choice as a souvenir, daily snack, or special gift.”

He confirmed that all Falala products are guaranteed 100% halal without any alcohol, and are packaged in exclusive designs, ideal for sharing with loved ones and colleagues, whether as holiday souvenirs or gifts for special occasions.

Putra explained, “With seven superior flavors such as Hazelnut, Matcha, Dark, Extra Dark, Berry, Caramel, and Bali’s Coffee, customers can also choose a box with a combination of two favorite flavors. The melt-in-your-mouth chocolate texture is a characteristic that makes Falala popular with many groups, including artists and national public figures.”

He added, “It’s no surprise that Falala already has six strategic branches in Bali, including at Ngurah Rai Airport, Kuta, Icon Mall, Living World, and downtown Denpasar.”

He revealed that Falala Chocolate is contributing to Ubud’s thriving culinary scene with offerings of chocolate as a dessert or even as hot chocolate, perfect for Ubud’s cool evenings. “The presence of this outlet confirms that Falala isn’t just about selling chocolate, but also about providing a delightful, lasting experience.”

Putra was keen to share with reporters why the new store is named the Falala Artisan Chocolate Ubud.

This is because this is the only Falala outlet to embrace local art and culture through its products and store design. “The word ‘artisan’ represents a unique approach to chocolate, with 18 new menu items, including a variety of chocolate drinks available only in Ubud.

He concluded, “Its presence is a form of respect for Ubud as the birthplace of Falala, where the philosophy of chocolate as comfort food blends harmoniously with the spiritual and artistic nuances typical of Ubud.”

The new Falala Chocolate Bali is located on  Jalan Raya Pengosekan Ubud, which is considered to be one of the best shopping streets in Bali and is ideal for coffee lovers and foodies.

The new store is only a 5-minute walk from the ARMA Museum, where tourists can take an even deeper dive into Balinese art and culture during their vacation.

Bali is an incredibly abundant agricultural landscape. From rice to cloves, coffee to cacao, the cool volcanic slopes of Kintamani and other regions of the island make it perfect for farming.

During a trip to Bali, tourists can get involved in a range of different agrotourism and ecotourism projects to learn more about the local way of life and how farmers grow their crops.

Tourists can also take part in one of many different cooking classes to learn how to make dishes using only locally grown ingredients.

These day trips and cooking class experiences often include trips to local markets to buy ingredients in person, or trips to local farms to harvest ingredients by hand.

@Steve bm,

Falala already has 6 outlets in high profile places. They've done their homework and think there's a market in Ubud. Of course your marketing, research and history in selling chocolate is far superior to Falala
