Here at The Bali Sun, we love this island 365 days a year. Whether it’s busy with tourists or so quiet we don’t see another soul, we love how much the experience of both travel and life on the island changes day by day, season by season.

We have to admit, though, we do love the low season in Bali. From January through to the end of April, and from September through to mid-December these are our favourite times to both travel around the island, and settle even deeper into the flow of daily life. With Bali set to welcome well over 7 million international tourists in 2026, we know that it is more important than ever to really indulge in the low season.
