Local Man Found Dead In Bali Hotel

A 37-year-old man with initial (IKPS) has been found lifeless in a hotel that is located on Jalan Cargo Indah I Number 16, North Denpasar.

The Head of Denpasar Public Relations Officer, Iptu I Ketut Sukadi confirmed that the man who has been living in Jalan Badak Agung, Denpasar has hung himself inside the bathroom of a hotel in North Denpasar. “IKPS was already dead when the hotel’s staff found him inside the room on Saturday afternoon (8/5).” Iptu Sukadi said on Sunday (9/5).

Prior to the incident, one of the hotel’s staff, Ketut Erawati explained that IKPS came to the hotel with a motorbike and then checked in to the hotel by himself on Friday (7/5). The next day, one of the hotel’s staff named Ayu tried to knock on his door, but she didn’t receive any response from him. Few hours later, another staff member tried to call IKPS as it was his time to check out from the hotel, but they still didn’t hear any response.

Finally, they decided to break one of the windows in order to get inside the room, and they were surprised when they saw IKPS had hung himself inside the bathroom. After receiving a report regarding the incident, police officers arrived at the location.  “The body was transported to the Sanglah Public Hospital using an ambulance from Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), we continue to do our investigation by collecting more information from the scene.” Iptu Sukadi concluded.
