Emirates plans to resume its international route to Bali Airport by May 1, 2022.
During the official press conference, an official from Emirates Airlines stated that they would resume the Dubai-Bali route for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic struck in 2020.
For the first two months, the airline will be operating the Boeing 777-300ER on five weekly flights to Bali.
“Emirates will resume its operations to Bali, with its spectacular mountains, beautiful beaches, and mind-blowing culture. Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world,” Emirates stated.
After two months of probation, the airline plans to increase its operations by providing daily flights to Bali by July 1, 2022.
By resuming this international route with Bali, Emirates begins contributing to the recovery of the Bali tourism sector, which was heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years.
The flight is expected to arrive at Bali Airport at 10:20 pm, and the return flight from Denpasar to Dubai is scheduled at 12:05 am. Emirates will also resume its international flights with Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, and London Stansted in 2022.

@Paul Speirs, in a nutshell he is talking about being happy that Emirates is serving Bali route again. He has cancelled twice in the past in 2020. Instead of bringing money he will bring the sun to Bali. (Ok whatever)... Then about restaurant findings on Google map etc... He read on the internet that in Thailand alcohol is allowed till 11 pm. Tourism could be dead without a night life.

Nice, but very surrealistic in times of Covid, hybrid war and economic crisis.

@Ben, Have you been updated lately. But things can always change rapidly for the better.
Right now No PCR test upon arrival, no quarantine for those who have been vaccinated and boosted, no need to book a night at an approved CHSE hotel for first night and thereafter. The only thing you need is a pre-departure PCR test 2 x 24 from the country of origin. This applies to countries listed on the VOA. Those not on the list well that's a damn shame.

@Wayan Bo, Actually Emirates is in a good position here: the route from most European countries connecting in Dubai and then to Bali doesn't pass over Russia. It never did, so for them it's not more expensive to operate than it was without the war.
I guess when Indonesia finally lifts all it's covid rules tourists will be back in no time, and Emirates has always been a big player.
