Bali Airport Re-implements Covid Test Requirement For Double Vaccinated Travelers

The Bali Ngurah Rai Airport has officially re-implemented the Covid-19 test requirement for double vaccinated domestic travelers.

The Stakeholder Relations Manager of Angkasa Pura I for Bali Ngurah Rai Airport, Taufan Yudhistira, confirmed that double vaccinated domestic visitors are now required to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test upon their arrival at Bali Ngurah Rai Airport.

This is per the latest Transportation Minister’s Decree Number 36 Year 2022 as of Tuesday (5/4).

“We have slight changes on the travel requirements. Domestic travelers who haven’t received their Covid-19 vaccine booster are now required to show a negative result from Covid-19 test upon their arrival,” Taufan said on Tuesday.

Travelers who have only received the first dose of the Covid vaccine are required to conduct a three-day PCR test. Meanwhile, double vaccinated travelers must conduct an antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure.

Travelers below the age of 6 are not required to be vaccinated or tested, but they must be accompanied by a companion who will be responsible for their compliance with prevention protocols during their trip. “Travelers should remember to fill out the e-HAC form on their PeduliLindungi app before checking in at the airport,” Taufan concluded.

Taufan confirmed that the airport officials are still operating the Covid test facility inside the airport area.
