Bali Reports First Day With Zero Deaths From COVID-19 In 2.5 Months

The Bali COVID-19 task force reported that there were no deaths on Saturday, November 7th which makes it the first day in over 2.5 months without a death due to COVID-19.

According to the data from Bali Health Agency, the cumulative mortality rate is 399 people.

396 people were locals and 3 were foreigners.

According to regional health authorities, COVID-19 deaths in Bali have occurred in the following regions: 

Denpasar- 78 

Gianyar-  70

Buleleng-  54

Karangasem- 51

Badung-  45

Tabanan- 36 

Bangli – 34 

Klungkung- 17 

 Jembrana-  11

Although the Bali Provincial Government is happy with the announcement, there are still new cases of COVID-19 daily with transmission being highest in the Gianyar District as of late.

The Health Agency added that they have also received a report of an expat who was recently infected with Covid-19 but have not released further details at this time.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Bali since the pandemic started is now at 12,181 cases.

The Health Agency also reported 625 active cases that are still being quarantined in 17 different hospitals and isolation rooms across the island.
