The Bali Governor’s Wife, Ni Putu Putri Suastini Koster has tested positive with Covid-19 the Head of the Bali Health Department has announced.
In a 13 minute video, Suartini Koster admitted that she’s currently undergoing quarantine in BPK Education and Training Building in Pering Village, Gianyar.
She is being treated as an asymptomatic patient.
“I’ve been in here since the doctor found the virus in my body after getting a swab test”, Suartini said in the video.
Suartini added that the Bali people need to reduce their stress because it could trigger other symptoms that could weaken the immune system.

Suartini Koster has posted photos of flowers and prayers that she has received from friends and family, including her husband Governor I Wayan Koster. “To my dear wife, I hope you will get well very soon. I always pray for you, darling”, Koster wrote to his wife.
Secretary of Bali Covid-19 Handling Task Force Made Rentin has said that Suartini tested positive for Covid-19 after more than 20 of her staff in the residence were infected.
“The problem is, she had contact with many people on these days, welcoming many guests in her residence. I think anyone who had in contact with Suartini should be tested as well”, Rentin stated.
