Bali’s Nusa Dua is known as one of the most luxurious resort destinations on the island.

Nusa Dua is also an international tourist development destination; the area is famous for hosting the G20 Summit and other big international events. 

Nusa Dua is one of the best-organized tourist destinations in Bali. The resort is managed under BUMN PT Indonesian Tourism Development (ITDC), which oversees many of the operational elements of the coastal retreat.

As a well-contained resort area, security and management teams in Nusa Dua can easily control traffic flow in and out of the area and coordinate a resort-wide strategy to keep tourists traveling easily and comfortably. The ITDC is managed as The Nusa Dua resort area.

Over this festive season, thirteen temporary tourism security posts have been created around the Nusa Dua area to keep the whole operation running smoothly.

This will make it easier for tourists who are both staying or simply visiting Nusa Dua for the day to visit the top attractions and luxurious restaurants, hotels, and the stunning beachfront. 

The ITDC Operations Director, Troy Warokka, said this step was part of ITDC’s commitment to provide a safe and memorable holiday experience for all parties visiting The Nusa Dua area.

He said, “We are working hard to ensure that every aspect of readiness and security has been well prepared so that tourists, visitors, and the local community feel safe and comfortable while celebrating this precious moment.”

The new security posts will be up and running until the 1st of January, when the mass exit of tourists starts as travelers return home to start the New Year.

Warokka confirmed that the posts will be operating 24 hours a day and that tourists will be supported in any way that they need. He added 

“The number of security posts in each of these areas is determined to ensure security and optimal service for tourists and visitors in The Nusa Dua and The Mandalika areas.”

Warokka said that officers from Bali Police, the Army the Civil Service, the Tirta Tourism Rescue Agency, and the Mobile Safety Brigade will all be on hand this week.

He added, “This preparedness call provides specific direction regarding preparedness measures, security protocols, and cross-agency coordination to ensure a controlled and conducive situation.”

“We understand the importance of collaboration across sectors and departments to create a safe and comfortable area for tourists and visitors.”

As one of Bali’s leading tourist destinations, The Nusa Dua will host a huge number of New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Events include the mega New Year’s Eve Beach Party at Melia Bali, The Beachside Countdown Party at Merusaka Nusa Dua, as well as the Countdown Back to the 50’s event with an extravagant buffet and New Year’s Eve Bash at the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resorts.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

At Bali Collection, the premier shopping center in The Nusa Dua area will hold the Sparkling December Nusa Dua New Year’s Eve Party event that will feature a fire and Jegog dance, live DJ set, and flash midnight sale at selected stores. 

While many of Nusa Dua’s biggest and most popular resorts have high hotel occupancy this festive season, there are last-minute room deals available for tourists still planning their New Year’s Eve.

The Nusa Dua is home to 22 five-star hotels that offer a total of 5,485 rooms, suites, and private villas that can sleep up to 21,000 people. 

Big things are happening in Nusa Due in 2024. The management teams of the resort are set to focus on promoting water sports tourism, arts and cultural tourism, retail tourism, culinary tourism, and nature tourism, with more efforts underway to promote the water blow and the nearby mangrove forests and turtle conversation centers.
