Police officers dispersed a music concert held in Bangli on Wednesday (12/1) for the violation of Covid-19 protocols.
The event, also attended by Bali Governor, I Wayan Koster, was dispersed by authorities from the police department for violating prevention protocols.
The management team that organized the event apologized to the public and the authorities for the incident through their social media account.
Despite receiving permission from authorities to host the event, the Rise of Bangli Event Organizer, I Wayan Wahyu Pramana, admitted that the team faced challenges before the concert even started.
“We faced problems such as bad weather, which caused a delay to our preparations,” Pramana said on Thursday (13/1).
The organizers faced another problem when the venue received more people than the maximum capacity allowed by the authorities.
“People were excited to watch the concert as most have been unable to attend music festivals since the partial lockdown implementation due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” Pramana concluded.
