Now that his prison time is up, the expat will be transferred for immediate deportation.
Lars was arrested and proven guilty for violating Article 156 A of Criminal Law Book about Blaphemy. The Warden of Singaraja Prison, Mut Zaini confirmed that Lars has just officially finished his sentence.
“He was officially released from our prison, and will be transported to the Immigration Office. His wife was also here and saw when he was picked up.” Zaini said.
Head of Singaraja Immigration Office, Nanang Mustofa explained that the deportation process was postponed as both Lars and his sponsor were unable to provide an airplane ticket for the him to leave Bali.
“The person is required to provide the return ticket at this own expense to continue the deportation process as he had automatically lost his stay permit when he was proven guilty for committing the crime.” Nanang concluded. He will be held in custody by immigration officials until being deported.

@Heinz Schirmaier, perhaps he is or was sick, because it’s hard to find another reason for doing something like this. - In Europe are some bad people existing who destroy cemetery’s and draw swastikas and another symbols of nazism on grave stones.
