Crazy, 12 years for a tiny amount of marijuana. I don't understand why they don't differentiate between soft drugs and hard drugs. Alcohol and many prescription drugs are way more harmful than marijuana. This has been proved countless times in scientific studies. These 3 young guy's life's are effectively over now. I understand across asia they have a zero tolerance towards drugs, just use common sense when evaluating the type and amount of drugs seized.

"An American named Heather Lois Mack has been released from Kerobokan Prison after finishing her sentence on Friday (29/10). After being imprisoned since 2014 for murdering her own mother, Heather was finally released from the Kerobokan Prison."

So you can get 7 years for murder but up to 12 years for .8 grams of marijuana. What's wrong with this judicial system?

So many countries today allow Marijuana for medical and recreational use, it's draconian for Indonesia to be so behind the times.
