Bali’s Karma Kandara Resorts Improved Overall Operations

Karma Kandara Resorts have adjusted all their operating procedures to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.

During an exclusive interview with the founder and chairman of Karma Group, John Spence was feeling grateful as most of Karma Group’s Resorts that were spread in several different countries including Bali, Indonesia are still capable of operating and continuously contribute to the local communities around their resorts, despite the current challenges due to Covid-19 pandemic. As The Bali Sun previously shared, Karma Kandara was able to reopen under a strict prevention protocols after being closed for operation in order to prepare all their staff and members to welcome the new normal.

As a hotelier, Spence has been using a different approach in delivering services to their clients and exclusive members by providing comfort, safety, luxury and numerous amenities during their stay. Spence also ensured the guests that all Karma Resort’s staff are fully vaccinated for Covid-19 as a prevention step to avoid creating a cluster in the resort’s area. “We assured that all of our staff were fully vaccinated, and we did it early, we didn’t rely on the government’s support so we paid for it. We also vaccinated over 600 people around our resorts’ area to ensure that the area is safer from Covid-19 transmission.” Spence said.

Apart from that, he also invested in supplying multiple oxygen machines for hospitals around the area as well as keeping some of the machines at the resorts as a prevention program. Karma Kandara was also designed to prioritize privacy for each client, which also helps to avoid creating a crowd inside the facility during this pandemic where physical distancing is mandated. During the wait for the Indonesian government to reopen the international travel corridor, Karma Kandara Resorts has been receiving quite a large number of guests from domestic markets, proving that Karma Kandara has earned the trust of its clients when many people are still reluctant to travel due to health and safety reasons.
