Denpasar officials have confirmed that the recovery rate of Covid-19 cases in Bali keeps increasing.
The Spokesman of the Denpasar Covid-19 Handling Task Force, I Dewa Gede Rai stated that the number of recoveries from Covid-19 cases in the city has recently shown positive results. According to the data, the number of recoveries have increased into 255 people, while the current positive Covid-19 case is 187 patients as of Wednesday (25/8). However, Gede Rai still warns the community to stay alert as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Denpasar are still considered high.
“We need to stay alert and keep complying with prevention protocols especially during this current level 4 partial lockdown on the island.” Gede Rai said on Wednesday. Meanwhile officials have recorded a total of 34,954 accumulated Covid-19 cases in Denpasar, with 31,711 recoveries (90,72%), 796 deaths (2,28%) and the other 2,447 are still being treated.
“I urge the people to be more disciplined in implementing and maintaining prevention protocols during their daily day-to-day activities , especially with this mutated virus which has a higher risk in developing harsh symptoms for patients. Resulting in a surge on our daily Covid-19 transmissions in the last several weeks across the island.” Gede Rai concluded.

If EVERYONE (regardless of your origins living in Bali) is on the same page that covid will always be around and understand the health protocols; the quicker Bali can reopen to vaccinated International travelers.
The need without self-quarantine on arrival would absolutely help bring more time for tourism days spent. Just saying...

@Randy, Agreed, well said. I still think the goverment needs the numbers to flatten, before they can implement opening internationally to vaccinated tourists. Hopefully won't have to wait too long, for the sake of the local population.
