After an attack that occurred at the Indonesian Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday (31/3), Bali Police have decided to strengthen security across Bali.

Videos of a woman who entered the police headquarters and brutally attacked the officers with a firearm went viral on social media. The 26-year-old woman named Zakiah Aini was shot dead after attempting to shoot officers at the location. According to the will that she wrote prior to her death, the suspect claimed that the Indonesian government hasn’t been complying with religious values, so she decided to fight back.

The Head of Bali Public Relations Police Officer, Kombes Pol Syamsi said that the police need to take some preventative measures by securing all entry points to every police station on the island. “We have strengthened our security and everyone is required to be checked before entering the police station.” Kombes Pol Syamsi said on Thursday (1/4). Officers will also use an X-Ray to scan all the visitors and their belongings upon arrival.

Apart from the police stations, Syamsi also deployed his officers to secure all of the borders such as Gilimanuk and Padangbai Port. “Other than securing the borders and our offices, we have also deployed officers to some churches in Bali to raise security for the upcoming Easter celebrations this weekend as a preventative step, after another recent terrorist attack that had occurred in front of a church in Sulawesi on Sunday. (28/3) ” Syamsi concluded.

"According to the will that she wrote prior to her death, the suspect claimed that the Indonesian government hasn’t been complying with religious values, so she decided to fight back." WHAT A LOAD OF NONESENSE!! Religious values...seriously??

Killing/harrassing/bullying innocent people be it by any White supremacists or any Islamic extremists to make a point that it is justifiable in their respective belief has no room in a civilized society.

This particular coward person was indoctrinated by a foreign religious ideology if you want to get to down to the nitty gritty. It's time to bring the skeleton out of the closet. The roots of intolerance and hatred are imported and obviously man made.

Another embarrassing moment for Indonesia. No civilized democratic country deserves to be terrorized or bullied whatsoever.
