New Year’s Eve in Bali promises to be the island’s biggest celebration since 2019. With two years of Covid-19 related travel restrictions and social distancing mandates all but out of the way, visitors and residents in Bali are free to start 2023 with a bang.
The island’s biggest nightlife venues, hotels, and tourist hotspots are all putting on huge parties to call in the New Year. Tickets are selling fast, with some events already sold out. Here is your rundown of Bali’s Biggest New Year Parties.
It seems only fitting to pick the guide off in Canggu. The surfing hotspot is fast becoming Bali’s leading tourist destination. This year Canggu has affirmed its place as the island’s party capital. Venues in the ‘Gu are going all out to ensure that this year’s countdown is the best. Finns Beach Club has announced that tickets have completely sold out for their NYE event featuring Diplo.
In 2022 Canggu welcomed a new beach club onto the scene. Atlas Beach Fest will be celebrating its first new year as Bali’s number one lifestyle destination. The venue has booked world famous Timmy Trumpet to headline their three-day New Year festival. Timmy Trumpet is best known for chart-toppers like ‘Freaks’ and ‘Call Me’ featuring R2HAB. Racking up over 9.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Timmy Trumpet is regarded as one of the most prolific live performers on the circuit this decade. Party-goers can snap up tickets for the big night as a one-day pass or as part of a 2 or 3-day festival pass.
Sticking in Canggu, the world-renowned Cafe del Mar has secured headline act Sam Feldt for their New Year’s Eve party. The dutch musical legend will host a live DJ set to welcome 2023 in style. Cafe del Mar, known as ‘the home of chill,’ brings Meditteranean vibes of Ibiza to the Island of the Gods. Partygoers can expect to hear Feldt’s international hits, including ‘Follow Me’ featuring Rita Ora and ‘Post Malone’ featuring RANI.

“With two years of Covid-19 related travel restrictions and social distancing mandates all but out of the way, visitors and residents in Bali are free to start 2023 with a bang.” Was this paragraph written as a sick joke or as a warning?? With the immediate and real threat that exists in Indonesia/Bali at Christmas/NewYear an unfortunate choice of words!!!!!
