According to information from witnesses, the incident occurred on Thursday morning (21/1) at 4:30am. The driver, Subagioc, was taking a passenger named Suzah in an MPV (registration number DK 1442 AB) to her temporary residence in Guest House Banjar Sala from Ubud.

The visibility was poor that morning due to weather conditions as heavy rain and fog covered the area.

Before they managed to arrive at the destination, the driver turned its wheel to the left without noticing that the tire was on the edge of the road.

The tire slid, causing the car to roll over into the rice field.

After receiving a report regarding the incident, the Head of Tampaksiring Police Department, AKP Wayan Sujana, immediately secured the location and tried to find the driver to collect information.

Sujana also called a tow truck to evacuate the car from that rice field.

“Both the driver and passenger were okay. None of them were injured, and they decided to solve the problem by themselves,” said Wayan Sujana.
