Denpasar Officials have confirmed that among 43 villages in Denpasar city, 15 of them have turned into green zone areas of Covid-19 transmissions.
The Spokesman of the Denpasar Covid-19 Handling Task Force, I Dewa Gede Rai said that 15 villages that are spread in 4 different sub-districts in Denpasar City have zero Covid-19 transmissions. “Denpasar as the cantilever city of the tourism area in Bali has confirmed that 15 villages of the city are free from Covid-19 transmissions.” Gede Rai said on Monday (31/5).
The 15 villages that were confirmed as green zone areas of Covid-19 consist of ;
– East Denpasar :
Penatih, Penatih Dangin Puri, Kesiman Kertalangu, Kesiman, Sumerta, Sumerta Kelod and Dangin Puri Kelod Village
– North Denpasar :
Peguyangan Kaja, Tonja and Dangin Puri Kangin Village
– West Denpasar :
Tegal Harum Village
– South Denpasar :
Renon, Serangan, Sanur, Sanur Kaja Village
Meanwhile the other villages are still considered as either yellow or orange zones of Covid-19. Gede Rai also noticed that Covid-19 transmissions in Denpasar have significantly decreased within the last three weeks. “Our current active case is only 1.6% at the moment, with 96.10% of recovery rate. I hope the situation will get better as the Covid-19 vaccine is still being distributed.” Gede Rai concluded.
