Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a large wave warning Monday (6/8/2020) afternoon.
BMKG has said that the coasts of Bali including Badung and Lombok could see waves between 2.5 to 4 meters in height.
BMKG head Iman Faturahman said that from June 8th to June 10th fisherman need to use caution before entering the sea and those living along coastal areas should be prepared for high tides.
“Also, please the people who live and move on the coast around areas that have high waves to stay alert,” said Iman
In late May, 4 meter waves were reported by witnesses at Double Six beach as locals scrambled to save their businesses from high tides and large surfs.
Social media posts showed large waves and high tides along several areas in Bali.
