The Head of Health Support for the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Alexander K Ginting, confirmed that as per Decree Number 11 Year 2022 concerning Travel Requirements For Domestic Travelers During Pandemic, the government has officially revoked PCR and antigen test requirements for travelers who have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as of Tuesday (8/3).

Alexander explained that this revision covers all transportation methods, including public and private vehicles on land and sea and air travel services.

The government will ensure safety by supervising the implementation of all Covid-19 protocols, such as PeduliLindungi utilization, checking of vaccination status, and flagging any symptoms that might indicate a virus infection.

Meanwhile, travelers who have only received the first dose of vaccination must show a negative 3-day PCR test result or a negative antigen test conducted one day before departure.

“Talking and having meals are banned on all public transportation unless they have a certain physical condition that requires an exemption,” Alexander concluded.

More than 3 billion of worlds population didn’t receive even one jab.

@Wayan Bo, And guess what, they're perfectly fine, going to the shops, talking walks in the parks, seeing friends... Basically - living their life as they used to before 2020. Only you and people similar to your mindset are sitting in the basement, connected to the internet believing that OUT THERE, outside your basement there are living deads walking on the street. Take a look out the windows. Have you seen ANY pandemic during these past 2 years?

ME NOT.

@Wayan Bo, how can you know? All your posts are literally taken from a leaflet. Are you a real person or just a robot. Literally, all your comments are copy/pasted from the Internet haha Do you even have your own opinion?

Wayan: "Yes, 100% of the population needs to be vaccinated so we can get back to normal"

Ahahaha

I thought the amok and absurd is over. But no, Wayan keeps telling us crap he only believes. Stop this nonsense. There was never such a thing as "pandemic " during past 2 years. Media was the only place where it was real.

Admit it - those who haven't taken any vaccine are safe and sound and enjoy their lives as always, while you keep sitting in your basement afraid of going to the shop. Can you see the correlation? Or lack of it?... Get out the house, continue your life. You'll be fine.

@RA, vaccine’s against Omicron aren’t available yet. Omicron may cause lower hospitalization rates in general, but is more infectious than even delta. Nobody can be sure that new Covid mutation will not appear. - Pandemie ist far from over.

Good move. A slow start in a positive direction for fully domestic vaccinated travelers. Mask on can still prevent undesirable infections or bad mouth hygiene.

@Randy, "Mask on can still prevent undesirable infection" haha Randy, please, read it again and tell me you really believe this. If the answer is still "yes" then I have no idea what world you lived in these past 2 years. Definitely not the real world. Maybe metaverse? Haha

Gosh, when humanity became so dumb? Don't know the answer...

Curious why domestic vaccinated travelers pose a lower risk than foreign vaccinated people... is the Indonesian vaccine more effective or something?

Steven

@Ben, To add, if your already in country as a foriegner the same rules will apply to you. So you can travel around Indonesia without a negative test too.

@Ben, i guess there trying to encourage more indonesians to get vaccinated. Many countries are using similar methods in making life easier for the vaccinated population. Reducing covid hospital admissions and returning hospital's non critical care / operations back to normal is a priority around the world.
